Event Starmail Santa Claus Parade
Time 6 PM
Date Saturday, November 15, 2008
Location Dundas Street, from Rectory Street to Ridout Street
Details The parade, which has "A Polar Christmas" as it's theme, will start at 6:00 p.m. The parade will begin at Egerton Street (West of Kellogg's and East of the Western Fair) and travel West on Dundas Street to Ridout Street.
As part of the STARMAIL London Santa Claus Parade, volunteers will be collecting non-perishable foods from spectators to support The London Food Bank.
Event Tim Hortons Food Drive

Date November 10 to 16, 2008
Location Your local Tim Hortons

Details Next time that you go to Tim Hortons, bring along a non-perishable food donation for the London Food Bank. Food drive bags were included in the Pennysaver.
Event Give Ontario
Time
Date November 7 to December 31, 2008
Location in your home (and even your workplace, if it is acceptable use)

Details Give Ontario is an online, fresh food drive to raise funds to purchase fresh, healthy, Ontario-grown foods (fruits, meats and vegetables). All monies raised are shared with member food banks according to the donor's postal code. Watch for more information soon.

Details Come out to support the London Food Bank and watch the London Firefighters put on a show. 2009 calendars will be for sale!
Event CPR Holiday Train
Time 8 PM to 10 PM (times are approximate)
Date Tuesday, December 2, 2008
Location Richmond Street tracks, near the old train station (now The Keg)
Details The 10th anniversary Holiday Train arrives in London on December 2nd, and will visit over 100 communities in seven states and six provinces to raise food, money and awareness for local food banks. Bring your cash and food donations and support your local food bank. To date, CPR has raised $3 million dollars and 1.6 million pounds of food for food banks in Canada and the United States.
This year's musicians to come to London with the train include Shaun Verreault, singer/guitarist/song-writer for blues-rockers and Canadian live favourites Wide Mouth Mason, and Juno award-winning singer and songwriter Melanie Doane.
